November Mini-Event

Winter is coming and everyone is preparing for the huge celebration. However, AYS has decided to have a mini event for November, as a monthly theme is taken. November is Fall in full bloom, but it is also the month of the Day of the Dead. A tradition little known, but really important-- is the day to remember those that have parted in a cheerful manner. You can take it as an extension of Halloween, in the sense of costumes and parties!

Schedule:

Day of the Dead: November 30
A party held at the end of the month. Costumes, body painting, make-up, colors, music, food and fun! There will be lots of traditional Mexican food, clothes and altars this day to celebrate the tradition.

Face Paint Contest: November 22
One of the most popular things of the Day of the Dead are the skeleton face paintings in memory of the "Catrinas". This contest is for the one with the most amazing and colorful design!
